Risk perception and sexual relations among African migrants in Amsterdam

by E. El- Karimy, M. Gras, C. Varkevisser

This study intends to gain more insight in the socio-sexual behaviour of sub-Saharan African migrants living in the Netherlands. Main conclusion is that, despite extensive information available on the topic, HIV and AIDS are still surrounded by vagueness and mysteries. Especially among recent black migrants more eclectic risk perceptions are existing. With abstract in Dutch.
