Welfare research into marginal communities in Finland : insider perspectives on health and social care
The questions of a year-long community research project was how migrants living in Finland experience social and health care services, gain a deeper insight into the perception of HIV in refugee communities in Northern Europe, what expectations and needs they have and what everyday reality is like. Key persons were drawn from migrant communities, who then carried out qualitative social and health research in their own communities through in-depth interviewing.
