Migrant-friendly health services and HIV/STI prevention. A handbook for health professionals and policy-makers

by J. Hughes, J-P. Foschia

This handbook presents a series of recommendations, mainly for health professionals, managers and policy planners at a local level, on how to make health services more 'migrant-friendly'. The information is based on research in several European countries exploring whether migrants and migrant sex workers had adequate access to the health services and health-related information, particularly regarding HIV/AIDS prevention. Also available in German, Greek, Spanish and Italian through site.
