“HIV, Tuberculosis, Viral Hepatitis and Sexually Transmitted Infections” Thematic Network
This Thematic Network, led by the EU Civil Society Forum, will examine outstanding challenges and nurture collaboration among stakeholders to ensure continuity of prevention, treatment and care and better quality of life for all people living with or most affected by HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis, tuberculosis (especially drug-resistant) and sexually transmitted infections, including an adapted response for displaced and mobile people and other migrant populations. It will issue a Joint Statement at the end of the process that will be disseminated at relevant via relevant policy, clinical and service providers' communication channels, discussion forums and at conferences.
The EU Health Policy Platform hosts several thematic networks led by health stakeholder organisations on a yearly basis. During the annual cycle, leaders prepare Joint Statements on prioritised health topics, collaborating with other Platform members who want to participate and exchange ideas through several live webinars. At the end of this process, they present the final Joint Statements at the EU Health Policy Platform annual meeting.
