We have good news! For the first time in the history of the Network, the members of AAE are going to directly elect the members of the Steering Committee!
Driven by the goal to ensure a more transparent and democratic governance structure for AIDS Action Europe, as well as to strengthen the collaboration within the network, the Steering Committee of AAE decided to establish direct elections to the Steering Committee. This happens for the first time in the history of the Network, and we are excited to embark on this path together with you!
The election procedure:
The elections will be conducted in December 2022. In order to ensure the most efficient selection procedure, we have opened pre-registration for voting. Only one person for an organization will have the voting rights. Therefore, we ask you to assign the person for your organisation who has the authority to vote in the name of the organisation and is available in December 2022. Once the election is open, the assigned person will receive the link to the email address entered at pre-registration.
