25 years ago George House Trust sprang out of outrageous stigma and discrimination to fight for respect and rights of people living with HIV.

Once again GHT looks ahead – building tomorrow’s future for people living with HIV. This one day National HIV Social Care conference will be held:

Tuesday 20th April 2010, Manchester Central Convention Complex
The 2nd Joint Conference of BHIVA and BASHH (20 – 23 April) follows, in the same venue in the heart of Manchester city centre.

‘Still Living With HIV: Building Together for Tomorrow’ (1-day conference) will focus on
• planning for the future
• changing needs of people living with HIV
• the impact of the recession, the general election, the ageing population
• HIV related stigma
• positive prevention strategies.
