WHO Europe is revising 5 clinical protocols on treatment of and care for PLWH. The protocols are the cornerstone of the strategic actions that WHO has taken as part of its contribution to ensure universal access to treatment and care for PLWH and to comprehensively address their health problems. The revised protocols provide preferable, alternative and acceptable options which allow countries to choose appropriate recommendations depending on the available resources.
